A Personal Beginning.
AK Botanicals is a family-run company founded by Howard Hirsch. After decades spent building businesses in accounting and technology, Howard's own experience with sun-exposed skin led him to explore a more deliberate botanical approach to skincare. That personal beginning still shapes the company today. We believe concentrated formulas require careful application, clear instructions and honest expectations. What began with Howard's search for another option has become a commitment shared by our entire family: to offer distinctive botanical skincare with precision, responsibility and respect for the people who use it.
